Thieves took $900,000 in jewelry from a vendor’s car in New York City.
The woman had just loaded the jewelry into the automobile near Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan on June 19, the New York Post reports.
She was leaving a show and had gone back in to get more of her items, police said. The car was unlocked.
The thieves took a variety of items, including platinum diamond earrings, Cartier watches and vintage and Victorian rings, the Post reports.
CBS New York reports that the jewelry was in a duffel bag in the back seat.
Police are seeking two men and a woman in connection with the crime. They left in a gold and silver 2011 Subaru Forester, authorities said.
